Official 2019 Selection for the Mendocino Film Festival! This is my first short film shot with a DLSR. In this project, I sought to capture the theme of Spring in a series of clips I shot in the beautiful countryside of Anderson Valley in Northern California. With the cold drenching winter we had in early 2017, I wanted to see what kind of images I could capture that would convey a sense of life and awakening. This film was shot using a Canon Rebel t5i with the 18-55mm kit lens and a Tamron 70mm-300mm F/ 2.8. Official 2019 Selection for the Mendocino Film Festival!

A project done with the Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association for their social media campaign. They represent the wonderful wineries we have here, nestled in our beautiful region in Northern California. It's my first video project done under social distancing and having worked largely at home. Most of the footage was provided by the wineries with the landscape shots being filmed out by myself. I must say it all has been an interesting experience. Especially during that period in early April. It was a few weeks after our state's shelter-in-place order when we worked on the video. In addition to reminding people that the wineries are doing okay, we hoped to offer something uplifting and hopeful in this video. Did we achieve that? I'll let you decide.
